why not bring Lawrence and Teddy along with you to the .con? I'm sure they'd enjoy the travel.

They don't have picture ID's so they might have trouble getting past TSA.
And if they got to go everyone else would want to go too and that is too many people.

I spent nearly every Summer growing up in a small town next to Boone. It's a wonderful place - particularly in Summer - God does the air conditioning for free. I have not been there in more than 40 years now. Wow. Hopefully, they've made some transportation improvements. I cannot imagine how all of you will get there easily from all your various places.

Most of us are going to fly to Charlotte and drive for a couple of hours. It's the best you can do. (Actually in our case we're going to drive for a couple of hours to Asheville, spend two nights there, and then drive some more to get to Boone.)

Oh! Asheville is so beautiful!! Now I am really envious. I can't wait to hear all the details and see the pictures.

We spent night in Asheville about 10 years ago, but we didn't get to the Biltmore Estate, which is the target of this visit.
