Unique stuff

Name a CD you own that no-one else on your friends list does:
OK, this might be considered cheating. A '78 record of me playing Schumann's Arabesque made when I was about 12 years old.

Name a book you own that no-one else on your friends list does:
How to get out of the rat race and live on $10 a month by George Leonard Herter.

Name a movie you own on DVD/VHS/whatever that no-one else on your friends list:
What's not to like, a video about a contra dance community in northern vermont

Name a place that you have visited that no-one else on your friends list has:
Aeolus Bat Cave in Dorset, VT. When I worked at Camp Killooleet in Hancock, Vermont (~'58-'61) we used to take the kids caving and go to caves on our days off.

Is the LP any good?

And do you live on ten bucks a month?

I should checkout and convert the record some time (I have lots of such projects)

The book was written in 1971. GLH is the brother of Christian Herter who was Eisenhower's secretary of state.

This book is all about being self sufficient. For example he talks about making soap. He is somewhat judgemental. Here is an example that is part of his soap making instructure.

"We always have the money to buy good soap in this country and the women folk look down at on such menial tasks as making soap these days. An H bomb strike in this country would change the whole picture. If you had soap after a few bombs dropped you would have to make it yourself or go without."

A record is not a CD. It doesn't count.
Not until you covert the format.
