A visit to Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden, Vancouver

The other of The 1000 Places to see Before You Die in Vancouver
is the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden, Vancouver.

Classical GardenA public park and private garden was built in Chinatown to honor Dr. Sun Yat-Sen. The description said it was the first such Classical Garden built outside China. It was very nicely designed and quite beautiful. They must have had an extensive fund raising project because there were many plaques to show who the donor of some particular part was. rsc, Cobra Woman, and the Mongoose visited this after the Dim Sum at Floata that many of us soc.motss con goers attended. The private garden had an admission fee and there was a guided tour that we could have joined but we decided to not do so.

Click here for some pictures of the garden.
