Palma, Mallorca - Fri, 13 October: Grey - rain - more rain. Rented a car from Tumassa Garage and drove over roads like this: ∩_∩_∩_∩_∩ to Soller. Very grey, cloudy, view still nice. Terracing. The drove to Deya, more good view roads, but far from sea ~1 mi. - rough rock coast high up close to edge.

deyaDeya, an artists colony, but except for one shop no signs. Did Tekla (an artist we knew) live there? During lunch in a very Spanish place sun came out for a few minutes; then again came the rain.

Then on to Bañalbufar: fantastico - terracing, irrigation ditch system, hillside housing - super steep road, practically couldn't drive back up road from sea. Again no use of the sea - very harsh sea with huge rocks coming straight up - strange coloring in edge of water - couldn't tell what it was. Then a drive back over less interesting roads.
