We are going on what is billed as A Safari for Contra & English dancers to see Wild Animals & Birds of Kenya at the end of May. This is another trip organized by Ken McFarland. It is mostly sight seeing/animal watching with a bit of dancing here and there. The musicians are Peter Barnes and Mary Lea, who were the musicians on the Greek Island trip and as it happens are 2/3 of the band at our spring dance camp in the beginning of May.
Xerxes, Agamemnon, and Timothy, our house lions and zebra, will be jealous - but tough, they don't contra dance anyway.
To break up the trip a bit, I expect we'll stop over for a few days in London on the way over, and probably not on the way back.
